Have a nice day!

Christmas in the Summertime!
Hi everyone!
Our foreign language assistant, Evelyn, is from New Zealand, as you may already know. New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere, and now it's summer there, so Christmas takes place in the summertime. She's taught us this funny carol called "Christmas in the Summertime", played by the band "The funky monkeys". Have a look!

Hockey Pockey!
Hi everyone!
Our lovely foreign language assistant, Evelyn, is from New Zealand. She's teaching us a lot about her country. Last week we learnt how to cook "Hockey Pockey", a famous sweet tipical from Christmas in New Zealand. Remember that now it's summer there, so their traditions are slightly different from ours, in the Northern Hemisphere.
Here we have some pictures of the process:
Presentation
Ingredients:
- 10 tablespoons of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of "Golden Syrup"
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
This is the "secret ingredient": Lyle's Golden Syrup. You can easily find it in British shops in the coast, like Iceland in Fuengirola.
